๐ History of Tic-Tac-Toe
Tic-tac-toe is one of the world's oldest games, dating back to ancient Egypt. Known as 'Noughts and Crosses' in many countries, it has been beloved as an accessible strategic game for all ages.
Despite its simple rules, the game offers deep strategy and even has optimal 'perfect play' strategies.
How to Play
Play on a 3ร3 grid. You can choose who goes first, with the first player using โ and second player using ร.
Choose from Easy, Normal, or Hard. Hard mode features a CPU that uses optimal strategy.
The center square is most valuable, corners are also important. Block opponent's wins while creating your own winning patterns.
Strategy Tips
The center square (position 5) is part of 4 winning patterns, making it the most valuable square.
Corner squares (positions 1,3,7,9) are part of 3 winning patterns and are strategically important.
When opponent has two in a row, always block the third. Balance offense and defense.
