Detailed Rules
The 8ร8 board has 2 white and 2 black stones placed in the center. You can choose to go first (black stones) or second (white stones) in game settings.
Choose from 4 levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert. Expert mode has AI that thinks strategically and is very strong.
Place stones to trap opponent's stones with your own. All trapped opponent stones flip to your color.
Valid positions are shown faintly. Any position where you can trap opponent stones vertically, horizontally, or diagonally is valid.
If no valid moves are available, you automatically pass. The game ends when both players pass.
When the board is full or both players pass, the player with more stones wins. Equal numbers result in a tie.
- Capturing corners is strong (they can't be flipped)
- Keep few stones early, then increase rapidly in endgame
- Avoid moves that give corners to your opponent
- Edge stones are relatively safe
